G1. NSFW & Offensive Content/References
Builds that display NSFW/Offensive content are prohibited. This included signs, books, renaming items, animals, etc. Keep chat PG-13. This is enforced by the term Not Safe For Work (“NSFW”) content. However, excessive swearing is also prohibited, light-moderate swearing is acceptable.
G2. Inappropriate account name/skin
Your Minecraft name/skin must not be offensive or contain NSFW content.
G3. Impersonating other users
Impersonating other users in an attempt to deceive someone is prohibited. This includes mini-modding and pretending to be server announcements such as a broadcast.
G4. Glitch Abuse
Glitch abuse is a very serious offence. The decision of whether or not something is abuse of a glitch will be decided by the moderators. If you find a glitch, please report it immediately to the #ticket-🎫 channel. Do not share glitches with other people, and do not use it to your advantage. Any sort of glitching (including, but not limited to, ender pearl/vehicle/boat/entity glitching) that allows you to get through a previously blocked wall will be counted as abusing a bug/glitch. This also includes duping and abusing the plugins on the server.
G5. Arguing with Staff
Respect decisions made by all staff. If you have any concerns regarding staff and their decisions, please open a #ticket-private where the administration team will review accordingly. Please do not argue with or harass staff members in public chats.
G6. Exceeding alt limit
We allow the usage of three accounts per user*. If you have family/friends who also play the server from the same IP and are punished for this, open a #ticket-🎫 for the moderation team to review. In addition, we strongly advise against sharing accounts with other users and are strictly at your own risk. This is also enforced by the Minecraft EULA.
G7. Lag machines/ farms/ builds
Any use of lag machines/farms/builds that cause server/client lag will be punishable depending on the severity.
G8. Knowingly working with a rule breaker
Players who are complicit in rule-breaking will be held as accountable for the rule being broken as the player violating the rule.
G9: Exploiting/Loop-holing the Rules
Exploiting our rules system to benefit yourself in any way is a punishable offence. Any action that attempts to bypass a rule in some way, such that the action would not fit the definition of the rules that is being bypassed, is still punishable.
G10: Proxies/VPNs
The use of proxies or VPNs are strictly prohibited unless pre-authorized by the managers or admins. Please open a The Round Tableticket-🎫 if you encounter this issue.
G11: Ruining other player’s experience
Any activities/behaviour that may ruin the experience for other players on the network is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to gate-keeping the server, forcing other players to quit, harassment, and continuously disrespecting players, staff members, and other community members. Encouraging people to quit or leave the servers through these actions is also included.
This is strictly limited to just 3 accounts in total. Even if you lose access to an account, it is still registered as an alt and will be counted in your alt list. If this happens, you can open a #ticket-🎫 for the moderation team to review.
S1: Punishment Evasion
In the event that you are punished by server staff for breaking any rules, attempts to evade the punishment through the use of alternate accounts or in-game methods will result in both accounts having double the original punishment.
S2: Illegal Client Modifications
Client modifications that give any competitive advantage over players are strictly forbidden. Refer to the disallowed modifications forums page for a general list.*1
S3: Store Chargebacks
Chargebacks on store purchases are strictly prohibited. Chargebacks are a refunded charge to a credit or debit card. If there is an issue with your purchase, please open a #ticket-private-🎫.
S4: Doxing
Do not share other people’s personal information such as real names, addresses, social media accounts, IP addresses, etc. without their permission. Sharing this with malicious intent is doxing. This rule also includes doxing threats.
S5: IRL Trading
Any trading that includes real life objects, possessions, or money is a bannable offence. This includes purchases on our server store. Please note that this does not mean you cannot gift things to other players from the store, this only becomes an issue if you gift somebody something in return for an in-game item or advantage.
S6: Behaviour Unbecoming of a Community Member
This is a punishment given to a player who has displayed continuous or severe inappropriate behaviour that is a major threat to the community and its safety. This can include behaviour inside and outside the community.
Chat Rules
Following these rules is a crucial element in keeping our server safe and fun for everyone, regardless of age. Chat rules relate to all available channels unless otherwise stated within the rule itself: from general chat, local chat, /msg, as well as signs, written books, item names, etc.
C1: Spamming/Flooding
Spamming is prohibited in all available channels. This includes sending repeated messages, sending different messages with quick succession, character spam, sending repeated messages in all, or majority caps. Also included are excessively long item names.
C2: Offensive Chat Topics
This includes any offensive content in conversation in any form that is prohibited in all available channels. This includes topics such as politics, religion, acts of violence, suicide/self-harm, and other serious and triggering topics. Hate speech, sexist or homophobic statements, or derivatives thereof are not tolerated.
C3: Inappropriate /nick format
If applicable, your Minecraft /nick must be compliant with all of our rules, as well as the following criteria:
Easily readable and typable with a QWERTY keyboard (i.e. no fully “&k” nicknames)
Contains no inappropriate content.
You also cannot have “suffixes” or “prefixes” in your name.
C4: Unnecessary Drama
All player-related drama is to be dealt with outside of public chat channels.
C5: Advertising/ Unauthorised links
Advertisements of other Minecraft servers, giveaways of non-Minecraft items, social media/content creation channels, or things of similar nature are prohibited without prior approval from Server Admins. This includes advertisements in all available chat channels, signs, written books, item names, etc. Advertising in-game trades or shops is allowed.
C6: Non-English in the general chat
English is required in all public chat channels, it is permitted in private channels.
C7: Use of Slurs
Slurs aren’t tolerated on the server. This includes any offensive words, phrases, comments to a player regarding ethnicity, race, religion, sexual orientation or disability. If you are unsure which words are offensive, please open a #ticket-🎫.
